Herefordshire Council’s Strategic Planning and Neighbourhood Planning teams are responsible for producing the Local Plan for Herefordshire.
The Local Plan will be part of the Herefordshire Development Plan together with the Minerals and Waste Local Plan and Neighbourhood Development Plans prepared by the town and Parish Councils. Supplementary planning documents will provide more detail on specific issues as required. All of these will need to take into account government guidance and local strategies.
